Campus Resources

ACC Foundation – The Foundation assists hundreds of students annually with scholarships and financial aid so that they are able to have access to a college education. Professional development funds from the Foundation help pay for faculty and staff continuing education and memberships in professional organizations. Click the link to obtain contact information.

ACC Tutoring Center – The purpose of the ACC Tutoring Center is to support the mission and goals of the College by providing an open computer lab and FREE tutoring services for individuals and groups. Click the link to sign up for a FREE tutoring appointment.

Child Care Center – ACC’s on-campus Child Care Center that is open to children of students, faculty and staff, and the general community. ACC’s Child Care Center has a 5-star rating from the North Carolina Division of Child Development. Click the link to obtain contact information.

Financial Aid – There are 5 basic types of Financial Aid: Grants, Scholarships, Veterans Assistance, Loans, and Federal Work Study. Click on this link to schedule an appointment.

The Food Pantry at ACC – ACC’s Food Pantry distributes food to currently enrolled students. Food is free; no income information is required. To request a bag of non-perishable groceries, follow this link.

Library/Digital Library – The Library at Alamance Community College supports the mission of the college by providing a variety of information resources relevant to the curriculum and personal enrichment. Serving the changing academic, occupational, technological and cultural needs of a diverse population, the library provides reputable resources and quality services that support student learning and success. They teach information literacy and guide users in developing and acquiring skills to become independent and lifelong learners.

Math Center – Drop in to do homework, work with a study group, or ask questions!  The math center is staffed by ACC math instructors who love to help! Click the link to obtain contact and hours of operation information.

Military & Veteran Assistance – Almost all ACC Academic Programs that award a degree or diploma are approved. Corporate and Continuing Education programs are not approved. MMSI – Minority Male Mentoring Success Initiative – The mission of Alamance Community College MMSI program is to increase success rates and completion rates of minority males through mentoring and exposure to academic, social, and career-based activities and opportunities. Printing – Campus printing by Wēpa: Wēpa is a new cloud-based, wireless printing service on ACC campuses. The kiosks are located in the Skills Lab, Library/LRC, Dillingham Campus, Powell Building, and AATC Building. Wēpa is a wireless printing service that allows students to print documents to a Wēpa kiosk from their cloud account, the web, a USB drive, their smartphone or any campus or personal computer. Click the link to obtain contact information.

Public Safety – The goal of ACC’s Public Safety Department is to make everyone feel safe while using the College’s facilities. The ACC Public Safety Department provides services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Click the link to obtain contact information.

Single Stop – ACC’s Single Stop program connects students to the non-academic resources they need. Our goal is to help students manage issues outside of the classroom that may impact their academic success. Schedule your appointment here!

Writing Center – The Writing Center is open to all current and former students of Alamance Community College. This is a FREE tutoring service that may be used for any writing assignment in any course, as well as for other important writing tasks such as resumes and application essays.
