Class Requirements

 

The Basic Rider Course is aimed at beginning riders of all ages.  The course consists a mixture of classroom and range time. Practical riding skills are developed in a controlled, off-street environment. The Basic Rider Course is conducted at a pace that results in successful completion for most novice riders. The Rider Coaches will help you learn to the best of your ability.  This course is designed for new riders who have never ridden a motorcycle, and for re -entry riders who have not ridden in a long time.

Students that are 16-17 years old must have a signed waiver form completed by a parent or guardian.

The course is mandatory for motorcyclists under the age of 18 in the state of NC. 

Seats are limited and payment insures your seat.

REGISTER

Prerequisite:  At least 6 months and and 3,000 miles riding experience 

  • The BRC2 is for someone who has been riding for a little while.  Students must possess a valid motorcycle license/ motorcycle endorsement.  Students must provide a street legal, properly licensed motorcycle and must show proof of insurance.  Bikes must also pass a safety inspection at class.   
  • If you normally carry a passenger, you may take the BRC2 with your passenger on board. The Passenger will also need to register and sign the waiver forms.  
  • Classes will run on Saturdays (Dates to be determined) from 8am - 6pm.
