Alamance Community College (ACC) has selected BibliU, an innovative leader in academic resource management and digital learning solutions, to revitalize its campus store operations starting May 1, 2025. This strategic collaboration will enable ACC to offer students affordable, comprehensive access to course materials and an enhanced retail experience through BibliU’s Universal Learning+ solution.

Through this partnership, ACC will introduce BibliU’s Equitable Access (EA) program. This program offers immediate, low-cost access to required textbooks and course materials for a flat fee each semester, ensuring students have the resources they need from the very first day of class. BibliU’s proprietary digital platform will be seamlessly integrated into the college’s Learning Management System (LMS), providing an easy and efficient way for students to access their materials.

In addition, BibliU will modernize ACC’s campus store operations, launching both a refreshed physical retail space and a user-friendly e-commerce website. Students will enjoy convenient access to ACC-branded merchandise, educational supplies and electronics, further enhancing their overall campus experience.

“Alamance Community College’s commitment to providing accessible, affordable, and high-quality education to all students resonates deeply with our values,” said Dave Sherwood, CEO of BibliU. “We’re excited to partner with ACC to operate their campus store and offer students a low, flat fee for course materials through our Universal Learning Equitable Access program. By expanding our presence in North Carolina, we are ensuring that more students have what they need to succeed, promoting greater affordability and access to essential learning resources.”

“This transition to BibliU is an exciting step forward for Alamance Community College as we continue to prioritize affordability, accessibility, and student success,” said Dr. Ken Ingle, ACC President. “By streamlining the textbook purchasing process and ensuring students have the resources they need from day one, we are making education more accessible and reducing barriers to learning. This move aligns with our commitment to innovation and equity in education.”
