Prospective curriculum graduates must submit the Application for Graduation form.

The form can be submitted electronically through the student’s Self Service account (Application for Graduation under the Academic Planning Section) or can be submitted at the Registrar's Office located on the first floor of the Student Services Building. This form must be submitted in order to graduate; graduation is not an automatic process.

A $25 graduation fee is required for all students applying for graduation. The $25 dollar graduation fee includes the cost of one (1) degree, one(1) degree cover, and the cost of the cap and gown. There is a $6.00 charge for each additional degree or certificate ordered.

You may pay the graduation fee using any of the following methods:

• In person: Visit the Cashier’s Office located on the 2^nd floor of the Student Services Building

• By phone: Call the Cashier's Office at 336.506.4141

• Online: The graduation fee will appear on your account within one (1) business day after you submit your Graduation Application in Self-Service.

  • Log in to Self-Service and follow these steps:

  • Go to Student Finance

  • Select Make a Payment

    • If you are applying for more than one degree, diploma, or certificate and plan to pay through Self-Service, please note that Self-Service will only allow payment of the standard $25 graduation fee. Any additional $6.00 charges for extra degrees or certificates cannot be paid through Self-Service. To pay the additional $6.00 fee(s), please work directly with the Cashier’s Office (in person or by phone) to complete your payment.

March 9, 2026 - Last date to order and have free shipment to ACC

May 1,2026 - Last date to order cap and gown and have it shipped to your residence. 

ACC will host a Cap and Gown Pick-Up event on April 14th and 15th, 2026.

Time: 11:00am – 2:00pm and 4:00pm – 6:00pm

Location: Bottom of the S Building

Students who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.8 or higher at the time of Commencement will be given a gold honor cord signifying High Honors.

Students with a cumulative grade point average between 3.3 (rounded) and 3.744 (rounded) will be given a silver honor cord signifying Honors.

Cords will be handed out at the cap and gown pickup event April 14th & 15th (or after April 15th in the Registrar's Office).

Commencement will be held on Friday, May 15th, 2026 at The Lamb's Chapel Airport Campus.

Commencement ceremonies will not use physical tickets. Graduates may invite up to six guests, and seating is first-come, first-served.

Diplomas will be mailed approximately one week after graduation requirements are completed as long as the graduation fee has been paid.

 The Registrar's Office may have a limited surplus of caps and gowns. Once you have paid your graduation fee, you may check surplus availability in the Registrar’s office after April 20th. Please be aware that your correct size may not be guaranteed in this circumstance.
