Hawvest Community Garden, a pick your own garden behind A Building, open to everyone in the ACC community

  • Launched in April 2024, this initiative was created to combat hunger and ensure that students have access to essential food resources. The concept is simple: a convenient space where students can easily grab snacks on their way to class, helping to reduce the stigma often associated with food assistance. This effort aims to support students well-being by providing discreet, accessible snack options for those in need.

  • List of snacks- small bags of chips, cup fruit, variety nut packs, granola bars, pop tarts, rice krispies, water, variety packs of crackers, cup noodles/soups, protein bars, dried fruit,

  • Cooking demonstrations and other educational events to teach proper food handling and storage
  • Volunteering to work in the community garden and preparing and distributing food
