Alamance Community College has announced that Sarah Hardin has assumed the position of Associate Vice President of Communications and Public Affairs. In this role, she will oversee Public Information and Marketing, Events, Campus Printing, and Public Safety.

Since joining ACC three years ago as Director of Public Information and Marketing, Hardin has significantly influenced the institution's public image and outreach. Her leadership in spearheading a comprehensive rebrand, executing a website redesign and launch, and driving consistent enrollment growth—most notably a 13.7% increase this fall—has enhanced ACC's visibility and appeal in the community.

With numerous years of experience in emergency services, event planning, and communication, Hardin brings a wealth of expertise to her new role. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Wilmington and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Texas Permian Basin, equipping her with a solid foundation in effective communication and administrative leadership.

“I am excited to step into this new position and to continue the work of transforming our communications and public relations efforts,” said Hardin. “It is an honor to lead such dedicated teams and to build on our successes in ways that will further enhance our community's connection to ACC. I look forward to this next chapter in my career and to the new opportunities it brings.”
