GRAHAM, N.C. — Alamance Community College (ACC) is proud to announce that Justin Pedley has been appointed to the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Board (NCVMB) for a five-year term. In this role, Pedley will serve as the sole Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) Representative for the entire state of North Carolina, a distinction that also makes him the youngest individual ever appointed to this position.
The NCVMB is responsible for regulating the practice of veterinary medicine and veterinary technology throughout North Carolina, ensuring the highest standards of care and professionalism within the field. As the only Registered Veterinary Technician voice on the board, Pedley will play a critical role in representing the interests, concerns, and priorities of veterinary technicians statewide.
"I am incredibly honored and excited for this opportunity," said Pedley. "This role gives me the opportunity to represent veterinary technicians across North Carolina while also representing Alamance Community College on a statewide level. I look forward to advocating for our profession and continuing to elevate the standards of veterinary care throughout the state."
Pedley's appointment underscores ACC's commitment to producing skilled, engaged professionals who go on to make meaningful contributions to their fields. His selection to this statewide board reflects both his dedication to the veterinary technology profession and the strength of the training and values instilled through ACC's programs.
