VETERINARY MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY
ASSOCIATE IN APPLIED SCIENCE
Interested in a rewarding career caring for animals? ACC offers multiple paths for veterinary careers that are always in demand. Students interested in a career in veterinary technology should have an aptitude for general science, math, and biology and demonstrate accurate and professional language and communication skills.
This program is designed to develop the knowledge, understanding, critical thinking skills, and technical abilities required of credentialed veterinary technicians working as integral members of veterinary health care teams.
We offer a concept-based curriculum that helps develop meaningful connections for
students as they learn the art and science of veterinary medical technology. Critical
thinking and clinical judgment are emphasized in class, lab, simulation and clinical
experiences.
