Alamance Community College in Graham, NC has received a top ranking in College Factual’s “Best Colleges Rankings for 2025.”
ACC was ranked #9 out of 93 in College Factual’s Best Colleges Ranking for the state of North Carolina. Nationwide, ACC ranks #104 out of 1,152 two-year associate degree colleges. This makes ACC a top 10% school for students.

In addition to the overall ranking, Alamance Community College scored highly in three distinct program areas:
- #11 - Best Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science Associate Degree Schools. For its 2025 ranking, College Factual looked at 108 two-year schools in the U.S. for this ranking.
- #38 - Best Liberal Arts/Sciences & Humanities Associate Degree Schools. College Factual analyzed 791 two-year schools in the U.S. to determine this ranking.
- #39 - Best Liberal Arts General Studies Associate Degree Schools. College Factual reviewed 879 two-year schools in the U.S. for this ranking.
College Factual analyzed over 4,500 colleges and universities in the United States to come up with this year’s ranking. Schools are assessed on a “bottoms up” basis, the belief that a school should be ranked from the program up. These assessments consider over 500 different majors and program areas, more than 60 different regions, and multiple degree levels to come up with what amounts to approximately 100,000 distinct lists to help students find the best-fit college for them.
