Transitioning and College Prep

We are excited to announce a new opportunity for Academic & Career Readiness students: Basic Skills Plus.  Qualified students may enroll in High School Equivalency and college credit classes at the same time, tuition-free!

Students can choose from a variety of program options.

To qualify, students must:

• Be working toward their high school equivalency (GED^® or Hi-SET^®)
• Must score a 9.0 on a placement reading and math assessment.
• Must be an NC resident for at least a year
