Graham, N.C. - The Alamance Community College (ACC) Foundation is proud to announce new leadership appointments that will guide the organization into its next era of growth, partnership, and student-centered support.
Jack Overacre Appointed ACC Foundation President
Beginning January 1, 2026, Jack R. Overacre, Jr., will assume the role of President of the Alamance Community College Foundation, serving a two-year term from 2026-2028.
A 1969 graduate of the Technical Institute of Alamance, Overacre brings more than five decades of executive experience to the position. A recent retiree from his role as Vice President of Global Delivery Excellence at Kyndryl, and a long career at IBM in various international operational and leadership posts, his decades of service, commitment to educational advancement, and community impact make him a strong successor for the Foundation’s top leadership role.
Overacre follows outgoing President Jackie Cole, whose term concludes on December 31, 2025. Cole’s leadership has strengthened the Foundation’s mission to support ACC students through scholarships, programming, and donor engagement. The College extends its deepest appreciation for her dedicated service and vision during her tenure.
New Board Members Join ACC Foundation
The Foundation is pleased to welcome two newly appointed board members who will begin service alongside Overacre:
Chip Foushee

Senior Vice President and Commercial Relationship Manager, First Horizon National Corporation
Foushee brings more than 35 years of experience working with privately held companies across North Carolina. With deep expertise in commercial banking, client advising, and value-centered financial strategy, he contributes strong market insight and collaborative leadership to the Foundation Board.
Suzanne McCoy

Senior Vice President of Marketing and Client Services, Samet
With nearly 25 years of experience in marketing, sales, and corporate communications—including leadership roles at Lowe’s Companies, United Technologies (Raytheon), and Samet—McCoy offers a dynamic background in brand strategy, public affairs, and organizational development. She was recently recognized by the Triad Business Journal as an Outstanding Woman in Business (2024).
