Services for Students
SINGLE STOP
Single Stop is a judgement free space where students meet with Kristen Sutherland (the Single Stop Coordinator) to discuss non-academic issues and then create a plan for moving forward. The goal is to help students manage issues outside of the classroom that may impact their academic success.
Welcome to Single Stop!
Currently enrolled students are invited to do the following:
Single Stop helps you manage issues outside of the classroom that may impact your academic success including issues related to;
- Housing Insecurity
- Food Assistance
- Utilities and Internet Access
- Health Insurance
- Budgeting
- Legal Concerns
- Transportation
- Taxes
- Mental Health
- Finish line emergency grant
The Single Stop Screener narrows down the resources a student is most likely to obtain
(and cuts down on time wasted chasing resources) so that you can access resources
as quickly as possible. By helping to navigate government, local, and ACC resources,
students can focus more of their time and energy on their coursework (and less time
worrying about all the ways that “life happens”)
We can’t wait to meet you!
