DOG GROOMING INTRO

Embark on your journey into the world of dog grooming with our introductory course. In this program, students will experience the joys of hands-on training in dog grooming. We'll dive into the fundamentals, covering topics like canine anatomy, animal behavior, safe handling practices, and the essential grooming tools and techniques. You'll become proficient in grooming techniques such as bathing, brushing, and drying, and you'll also receive thorough instruction on clippers and scissors. Whether you're a beginner or seeking to reinforce your foundational knowledge, this course provides a solid platform to build your grooming skills.

PROFESSIONAL GROOMING CLASS

 

Alamance Community College is excited to announce that we will now be offering professional grooming instruction that is designed to not only prepare you with the skills and knowledge to excel in the grooming industry, but also to sit for the American Kennel Club (AKC) Professional Grooming Credential test! 

This program includes in-depth online lessons through Groom Curriculum and hands-on practical skills instruction. With 42 years of professional grooming excellence, our Groom Curriculum accredited instructor, Kelley Neiderhiser will provide comprehensive grooming instruction.
